The 30th Street Corridor is an area ripe for both industrial and commercial development. Businesses in the corridor are supported by the 30th Street Industrial Corridor Corporation, a non-profit member-based organization that advocates on behalf of the corridor and provides a wealth of services and technical assistance to member firms. Additional assets of the corridor include:

• National rail line access connecting to Milwaukee's Port on Lake Michigan, offering world-wide shipping access.
• Local infrastructure providing close access to major interstate highways.
• Large metro-area labor pool.
• Comparatively low cost space.
• City, county, state, and federal resources available for all phases of manufacturing development, including assistance with business start-up or expansion, redevelopment, land assembly, and environmental remediation.
• Business Improvment District covering much of the 30th Street Corridor
• A variety of development sites, including a prime 145 acre inner-urban site available for industrial and business redevelopment.
